Below are a list of tips and information from your PTO. This list will be updated as tips are posted on our website and Facebook – check back often!
The Landis Run mascot is the Raptor. Students can win Raptor Rewards by demonstrating Respect, Responsibility, and Safety.
Landis Run classes start at 8:10am and dismissal is 3:15pm. On early dismissal days kids get out at 1:15pm.
You won’t find any school supply lists for Landis Run on the Manheim Township website – the district supplies everything kids will need at Landis Run!
How many students are at Landis Run? This varies from year to year but there are typically around 900 students combined in both grades.
Landis Run runs on a 12-day cycle. Forget what cycle day it is? The PTO will post Monday’s cycle day every Sunday.
There are three (3) water bottle filling stations at Landis Run. Your child can bring in a water bottle (don’t forget to label it with their name!) or use the water fountains in the hallways if they get thirsty.
Landis Run has three amazing principals:
- Mr. Gillis – Building Principal
- Mr. Schrodel – 6th grade principal
- Dr. Birk – 5th grade principal
Each grade is broken out into three teams: the Falcons, Osprey’s, and Hawks. Students spend most of their time in these teams including lunch and recess.
All students are given lockers for coats and books, instruments are typically kept in the band room during school hours.
Pro Tip! You can get your child a combination lock to practice over the summer.
